Medical Assistants help doctors and patients in a variety of health care facilities, including clinical practice offices. The job responsibilities of a medical assistant may involve both administrative and clinical work; the 2016-2017 BLS Occupational Outlook Handbook notes that “their duties vary with the location, specialty, and size of the practice.” This means that training and certification as a medical assistant can give you opportunities to truly pursue the health care career that you’ve always wanted. From working directly with patients to helping to make sure that patient records are entered and updated correctly in a computer system, medical assisting offers something for everyone passionate about being a vital part of a medical team.
Other courses include: Master Student/Study Skills; Professionalism; and Keyboarding/Computer Applications
